Florida Kayak Expeditions to the Everglades
Join us for Florida Everglades Adventures by Kayak
We will spend warm sunny days out on the water, and cool evenings by the fire! Temps range from 50-60 at night and 70-80 during the day.

Expect
Sunny days of kayaking in the extremely diverse biosphere of southwest Florida. 
  Lots of wildlife and bond with your fellow paddlers. Excellent instruction in a scenic island location. This outing will be a way for you to hone your skills and escape the cold north at the same time!
What is provided:
Equipment: High quality Kayaks, paddles, pfd's, safety gear, tents, tarps.
Instruction: Beginner to advanced, all female instructors, and also a pre trip meeting.
Location:
We meet in Everglades City and will be kayaking in the 10,000 Islands as well as Everglades National Park.

Itinerary
Day 1: 10:30 Arrive at Everglades City and check in to hotel. 
2:00PM Meet at Seafood Depot for a late lunch and pre-trip meeting
4:PM Kayak Turner River
Day 2: Launch from  Everglades City Ranger Station and Kayak to our campsite
Day 3 Wildlife viewing by kayak - day paddle the 10,000 Islands. Manatees, Dolphins, and other marine life frequent this area.
Day 4 Kayak thru Everglades National Park, and return to Ranger Station by sunset
Day 5 Hiking, birding, alligator viewing -Big Cypress Swamp
 

Airport:
Your closest Airport is Fort Meyers.   Spirit Airlines flies direct from Chicago and has reasonable prices. Your flight should arrive at approx 10:30 am and your drive to Everglades City should be approx. 1 1/2 hours.

Car rentals are NOT available in Everglades City, so you are best renting a car to get to your destination.

Cost is $ 600  for  4 days and 3 nights out.  This also includes hotel for the first night in Everglades City.  A $50 single supplement is also available
